Charles received an Architectural Design Technology Diploma from Confederation College in Thunder Bay in 1998. In addition to this he has also received certifications from the HRAI and WETT Inc. as well as obtaining Designate Housing Inspector status from the OFNTSC. Charles has worked continuously for Shibogama Technical Services and their member communities since May of 1998 in many facets of housing and construction, including design, inspection, training, management, coordination and advisory services. As an organizing committee member, Charles has been actively involved in organizing the conference since 2003. |
Saverio Rizzo |

Saverio is a Lakehead University graduate. He has been working for Matawa First Nations Management in the technical department for over 10 years as a Housing Inspector/Coordinator. He provides inspections on new and existing housing as well as technical advisory in all areas of housing for 9 First Nations communities. Saverio also has Designate Housing Inspector’s certificate through OFNTSC, is WETT Inc certified, and has taken numerous of Ontario Building Code course through the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. Saverio, who sits on the conference organizing committee, has been involved with the conference since its inception in 2003. |

Michael McKay is a member of Bearskin Lake First Nation. Michael attended Confederation College in Thunder Bay, ON, graduating from the Architectural Technology Program in 2007. He works at Independent First Nations Alliance Technical Services as a Technical Services Officer/Technologist. |
